  • U.S. Warehouse keeping high spirits

August 13, 2020

Pason USA’s office is still open for business, and the U.S. Warehouse is keeping high spirits, although they are working with the “new normal’” of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Like all other departments, the U.S. Warehouse department is practising physical distancing and heightened sanitizing requirements. But it’s the way the team is staying positive and willing to help in other departments that’s keeping them functioning as a team.

“The thing that makes me very happy is that even during these difficult times, we’re still functioning as a team. We are willing to help anywhere we can,” says Alberto, Pason USA Warehouse Manager.

The team consists of eight team members, who are lending a hand helping Field Technicians, scanning equipment, or cleaning sheds and trucks, as well as taking care of Rig Status and Inventory Controls (RSICs) at home.

In Pason’s U.S. office, the Warehouse team is a data-driven operation that handles all activities related to equipment processing, which include receiving, assembly, inventory control, shipping, and field returns.

“Our activities are evaluated on a daily basis and we direct our resources to the area that needs our attention the most, lately that area has been Field Returns,” Alberto says, adding that the team is following protocols put forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

“Everyone must wear a face mask and wash their hands regularly while working, as well as practise physical distancing,” he says. “In addition to that, we are working weekly rotation shifts to separate the team in half, so if someone is exposed to COVID-19, we don’t have to shut down the complete operation.”

Like all Pasonites across our organization, Alberto says his team misses interacting with their fellow colleagues but has embraced virtual meetings.

“The spirit of the team is the same. We all love Pason and want to do the best we can to support this great company,” he says. “We are proud to be Pasonites.”
